The live cameras at the Waikiki Aquarium allow you to get a look at some fascinating marine life, 24 hours
a day, seven days a weeks, from anywhere. We have three cameras now and are adding more. If you visit
a camera, and there is nothing but white text on a black background -- it's night here in Hawaii -- come back
during the day! (GMT offset for Hawaii is -10:00)

As seen on TV! The Shark Cam at the Waikiki Aquarium stares unflinchingly into the Hunters On the Reef Exhibit.
See sharks, rays, jacks, snappers and groupers and get some background on these amazing hunters of the coral reef, maybe even catch
feeding time! The sharks are fed 3 times a week -- Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, but at varying times. Check back
often on these days to see the action...

The endemic Hawaiian monk seals at the Waikiki Aquarium lounge daily by their pool. What will the seals be doing when
you visit? They may be swimming, sleeping or interacting with their trainers. You can also watch the lovely Waikiki sunset
or check out the surf behind the Aquarium.

The Waikiki Aquarium has an unbroken tradition of research, and now you can watch from the comfort of your own computer.
The Coral Research Cam peers directly into one of our coral research tanks in our behind-the-scenes research facility.
You'll get a chance to see corals competing for space, growing rapidly or splitting right down the middle in asexual
reproduction.
The cams on these pages use a java applet to provide the continuosly updating image; you will need a java compliant
browser in order to view the pages. A server push version of the Shark Cam page is also available. Server push does not
work with IE.
