Kilo i'a ("looking at the sea") is published quarterly by
the University of Hawaii and the Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium
and is dedicated to increasing the community's knowledge of the Waikiki Aquarium and Hawaii's marine life.
A full-color magazine, Kilo i'a, introduces readers to the fascinating undersea world found at the Waikiki Aquarium. Each issue focuses on the amazing animals we work with — from the sublime to the bizarre, goes behind the scenes to learn about the ground-breaking work of our staff and explores the issues impacting our marine environments.
Kilo i'a also highlights upcoming events and classes that allow our members to join in the adventure.
